This is a complete turnkey solution that includes tooling, weld development, programming and production start-up support.

Solution:

• CLOOS Romat 320 welding robot mounted on an overhead static C-frame
• Two station 180 degree rotation slew table with a two axis tilt/turn synchronized motor driven 509 Kg. (1,124 Lbs.) positioners in each station
• Two CLOOS Quinto II pulsed arc power sources with a tandem welding torch
• SD (Seam Data Monitoring) in the welding machine to eliminate rework by monitoring weld data of each seam while welding
• Digital seam tracking that can be used with tandem or single wire without limitations
• Touch sensing
• The robot and all external axes are fully synchronized so that the part can be placed and the optimum position for welding is maintained
• Pulsed arc welding machines to eliminate any spatter
