The external ignition module, which can be combined with QINEO QuesT, ensures safe ignition of the TIG arc in case of long cable distances between the welding power source and the welding torch. The module is mounted close to the welding process so that the torch hose package can be kept as short as possible. The short transmission distance of the ignition voltage reduces interference to surrounding components and prevents ignition voltage losses in large overall systems. You can connect up to four ignition modules to one QINEO QuesT. This allows alternate operation of multiple welding torches and wire drives on one power source. The ignition module is modular in design, has numerous standard monitoring components (e.g. water flow sensor, temperature monitoring, ignition voltage monitoring, etc.) and is equipped with a connection for the mono wire drive system. The ignition module is also available with other options.
