Robots from CLOOS are not only used at AGCO Fendt for welding tractor cabs. In the test cell, the finished welded tractor cabins from the new line are measured in 3D and checked for tolerances. The centerpiece is a CLOOS QIROX QRC-410 welding robot, which is mounted on a base and equipped with modern sensor technology from Perceptron. During the inspection process, the robot moves to defined points in the cabin and measures them. The software shows exactly where the measurements are being taken and whether the individual points are within the permitted tolerance. Only after a successful quality inspection do they move on to further processing.
